Messimania is still in full swing all across the USA: ever since the arrival of the World Cup winner, the expectation of Inter Miami has shot through the roof, both in terms of football matters and off-field duties, with the impact of the star perfectly measured in terms of the popularity of the merchandise sold by the club.
On Friday the list of the top-selling football shirts in the league was made public, with no prizes given out for who got top of that table: Messi was number one in terms of soccer jerseys sold in 2023, and if he manages to make the playoffs starting with a win against New York City FC, I’d say he’s guaranteed to keep that number rising.
