Pick #1: Kentucky +14.5 (vs Georgia)
Kicking off our college football week 6 picks against the spread is a play on the Kentucky Wildcats as 14.5-point underdogs in their matchup with the Georgia Bulldogs. We’re locking this spread bet in at over two touchdowns as it’s already come down three points from UT +17.
The Bulldogs are the top team in the country, but they haven’t looked like the powerhouse that has dominated the sport for the last two seasons. On the other hand, Kentucky is shaping up to be the SEC’s sleeper team this season with an undefeated record through five games.

The Wildcats’ run offense exploded for 329 yards last weekend against Florida, and we expect it to be a difference maker Saturday. UGA’s defense has been susceptible against the run, allowing 113.4 rush yards per contest, including
When we look at the 2022 version of this game, the Bulldogs managed a 16-6 victory over the Wildcats at Kroger field. After Auburn was able to control the clock and slow down the tempo against the Bulldogs last weekend, we expect Kentucky to follow a similar game plan in Athens.

Maryland vs Ohio State Odds
Team Spread Moneyline Total Maryland +19.5 (-110) +800 Over 57.5 (-108) Ohio State -19.5 (-110) -1350 Under 57.5 (-110) Pick #2: Maryland +19.5 (vs Ohio State)
Our second addition to our college football picks against the spread is another heavy road underdog who isn’t getting enough respect against a blue-blood program. The Maryland Terrapins are staggering 20-point underdogs against the Ohio State Buckeyes despite both teams being unbeaten.
The Terrapins have yet to face a top-tier quarterback, but they do feature a talented senior quarterback in Tualia Tagovalioa, who threw for nearly 300 yards and two TDs against this Buckeyes defense one season ago.
Tagovalioa’s experience and arm talent is the primary reason we like the Terrapins to keep this respectable, but also keep in mind that Maryland’s top three running backs are averaging well over five yards per carry. The Buckeyes’ run defense, which is allowing 106.5, has been their kryptonite in recent upset losses.
We’re not picking Mayland to win this one outright, but we do think they can hang around in this one much like they did one season ago. With the more conservative Kyle McCord under center, the Buckeyes haven’t been blowing out opponents (minus WKU), and we don’t envision that changing against their toughest conference opponent to date.
Pick: Maryland +19.5 (-110)
UCF vs Kansas Odds
Team Spread Moneyline Total UCF +2.5 (-110) +114 Over 64.5 (-110) Kansas State -2.5 (-110) -135 Under 64.5 (-110) Pick #3: UCF (+2.5) vs Kansas
Concluding our Week 6 college football ATS picks is a play on the UCF Knights as +2.5 underdogs against the Kansas Jayhawks. Many bettors likely want to fade the Knights following their Week 5 loss to Baylor, but that’s part of the reason we’re targeting Gus Malzahn’s team.
The advanced stats will tell you that UCF potentially deserves to be favored in this matchup, as they rank almost equally with Kansas in offensive efficiency according to PFF while boasting slightly better defensive metrics. Kansas gets some points for home-field advantage, but they might be without QB Jalon Daniels (back).
Kansas head coach Lance Leipold said QB Jalon Daniels re-aggravated his back injury during pregame walkthrough during the hotel and did not have an update for whether he will be available Saturday vs. UCF. Jason Bean would get another start if Daniels is out.
— Gunslinger Buzz (@GunslingerBuzz) October 2, 2023
UCF enters the weekend with the No. 1 offense in the Big 12 Conference, averaging 545.8 yards per game through the first five games. Quarterback Timmy McClain has looked solid in relief of the injured John Rhys Plumlee, completing 50-of-82 passes for 872 yards and seven touchdowns.
Kanas has not been good at defending the pass this season, allowing an average of 228 yards per game through the air. We don’t see them being able to slow down this explosive Knights’ offense, especially considering the fire UCF will be playing with after blowing that 35-7 lead to Baylor last weekend.
Pick: UCF +2.5 (-110)
Current CFB ATS Picks Record: 6-12
